ABOUT the STRIP
WS2812B LED(5050 SMD RGB LED with built-in improved version of ws2811 ic). This RGB LED strip allows you to individually control every RGB LED on the self-adhesive strip. Each LED has its own built-in WS2812 IC. See below photo.
Note: The BLACK ARROWS on the strip tell the transmitting direction of the signal. When run more than one roll of the strip after the Dream Color Controller, the following rolls of Dream Color Strip should be run strictly follow the Arrow point direction. If connected oppositely, the strip will not work
An addressable RGB LED strip is a long flexible strand of LEDs each of which can be individually set to a certain color (hence: addressable). By varying the level of red, green and blue (RGB) per LED many color combinations can be made. The chips between the LEDs listen to commands from a controller. This can be an Arduino or other microcontroller or a controller specifically designed for LED strips.
PRE-WIRING
Each single roll or section comes pre-terminated with 3-pin connectors for more strip connection(signal extenstion) as well as the2color wire(Red for +, Black for -)for power supply connection. Please see below photo.
STRIP OPERATION
THE IC ON THE DIGITAL LED STRIP LISTEN TO COMMANDS FROM A CONTROLLER. WE OFFER SEVERAL MODELS WITH FOR SELECTION ON OUR SITE. THE DREAM COLOR STRIP IS NOW AVAILABLE IN LONGER BUNDLES BY USING DIFFERENT CONTROLLER TYPE AND ACCESSOIRES, PLEASE SEE MORE INFORMATION ON THE RGB DREAM COLOR DIGITAL/SPI RF LED CONTROLLER.
Wiring Application
The Controller Code: HK-LCD-A01, One of this controller can max control 2048pixel points.
The Strip, Code:HK-F2812X30-X, is 60pixel point per meter, 240pixel per 5meter per roll.
So one of the controller can control total 8.5rolls, 34meters of the strip in continously run.
To power, you can use one power supply big enough( FIG1) or use several smaller power supply.
If exceed the controller's rated load, can change to use other big load controller or use the signal repeater/amplifier.
Below is an 8output interface singnal amplifier. In theory, it can extend to use endless amplifiers. Please contact us if any questions.

Waterproof Strip Dimension
*Non-waterproof : Bare Strip, with self-adhesive backing, for indoor or dry location use.
*Waterproof IP65 : Strip Surface is covered on top with Gel, and with self-adhesive backing. IP65 grade can protect sprayed water from all direction.
*Waterproof IP67: The bare strip is put in a hollow silicone tube and sealed at two ends. IP67 grade can shortly immersed in water.
*Waterproof IP68: The bare strip is put in a U Shape silicone tube, then covered on top with silicon gel, and sealed at two ends, which make it's solid.IP68 grade can be used under water.
